She received BHARAT JYOTI AWARD, New Delhi, 2010 and Gem of India, GOLD MEDAL AWARD, London, 2012, House of Lords in the field of Neonatology. Dr Sandhya Mandal Dhara is first Female Secretary of IMA( Indian Medical Association) Midnapore branch 2009-10. She was also First Female Secretary of IAP ( Indian Academy of Pediatrics) Midnapore br ,2015-17 & 2021-23.
